Belfast Festival at Queens is go!
It may be four months away, but the Belfast Festival at Queens have already announced the first phase of their forthcoming attractions. Tickets are now on sale for Valery Gergiev, who will conduct the internationally renowned Mariinsky Orchestra of St Petersburg at the Festival's Opening Concert, The Black Dyke Band (remember the brass from 'Yellow Submarine'?that was them), and Ludovico Einaudi, one of the biggest selling composers in the world. Plenty more to follow in the coming months, leading up to the Festival which takes place this year between 16-31st October.
